Sarita Sarkar is a first-generation serial entrepreneur who specializes in the food a n d hospitality indistry.

Sarita’s entrepreneurial journey started in 2016 with Sarkar’s Kitchen, an authentic yet versatile take on Bengali cuisine. It was her passion and vision that tasty food is a connection to soul, which took Sarkar’s kitchen to a meteoric rise and 5 consecutive Times Award for Best Bengali Restaurent.

Sheer hardwork, grit and determination brought more recognition and awards for the best hospitality, Womenpreneur’s award and Women’s leadership award. Sarita was also appointed as the Treasurer for the NRAI chapter of Hyderabad in 2021.

Before starting Sarkar’s kitchen, Sarita worked in executive roles at The Westin, The Park Hyatt and The Trident, Hyderabad which gave her deep insights into the hospitality industry.

These multiple roles and experiences opened up avenues for Sarita to connect and interact with industry leaders and well-known personalities.

I also worked at Facebook India as the Head of Front Operations for over two years. In this role, I gained valuable experience interacting with people from various countries and developed a deep understanding of different sectors and mindsets. I was responsible for managing the security team and leading a group of nearly 100 individuals, which enhanced my skills in team management and leadership.
